On this occasion, Penique productions presents Superexposició at the Gran Teatre del Liceu, an installation that completely occupies the theatre’s main auditorium. A monumental orange inflatable fills the entire space, extending from the stalls to the ceiling and from the stage to the balconies. Expanded by air pressure, a single membrane envelopes the architecture, unifying its forms beneath a shared texture and a single colour. The auditorium’s own warm light shapes the surface of the inflatable, revealing the distinctive architectural details beneath it.
The work transforms the Liceu’s main auditorium into a new space for discovery. The auditorium ceases to be merely the place from which a performance is observed and becomes the experience itself. Visitors are invited to wander through this newly created environment and rediscover the architecture of the Liceu from an unexpected perspective, where the boundaries between content and container dissolve.
