Penique participated in the Market State Project, an initiative in response to the proposed demolition of the Market State Residential complex, London.
For one day, seventy-five artists of various disciplines were offered space onsite to exhibit in a group exhibition.
In this unique scenario, Penique presented 18 Clocktower Place, a series of inflatables that completely invaded one partially furnished apartment.
It was possible to make out the shapes of the spaces and furniture inside the six rooms from beneath the installation’s uniform colour and texture.
