The Balloon Museum project travels to Paris to make one of its events at La Grande Halle de La Villette, Paris. The space that hosted, in 1989, the emblematic exhibition, Magiciens de la Terre, from April 14th to September 5th, 2022, showed the Pop Air exhibition, in which, among the works of other artists, Penique productions presented Rosâtre. A large red inflatable that occupies the left corner of the pavilion’s main facade, just in front of the highly frequented urban dance stage, embracing one of the building’s cast steel columns. Through the large windows, characteristic of the industrial architecture of the mid-nineteenth century, the sunlight enters, generating a multitude of pinkish tones. In the other corner, strings of white light contain the balloon in a regular way, diversifying the play of colors.
