For the 16th edition of Baile do Sarongue, which marked the beginning of Rio de Janeiro’s 2025 Carnival, Penique productions was invited to create an installation in collaboration with the Rio-based artist Cabelo Cobra Coral. Located in the first rooms that contain the staircase leading to the Baile, we presented a work titled Quinta dos Infernos, consisting of a red inflatable shaped to fit the space, outlining the architectural features of the venue and the sculptures selected by Cabelo. This collaboration also unveiled a sound piece specially created for the occasion by Fausto Fawcett and Cabelo, Luz del Fuego, along with a live performance.
