The team in charge of the Cerka’l Festival in Piera (Barcelona) invited Penique productions to participate. The group carried out an intervention inside the 16th Century Gothic chapel of Sant Sebastià.
Penique productions presented the public with a project in which light plays a key role. A 4-meter tall blue neon crucifix was placed in front of natural light streaming in from the outside through pink plastic. Gradually, depending on the time of day, the artificial light imposed a bluish tint on the natural light that made the pink colour of the material stand out, generating various contrasts and shades both in the colours and in the architectural forms.
